Description |
Located in the Country of Feast at the center of a triangle formed by the cities of Castres, Albi and Toulouse, Buissardière is close with foot to all trade and facilities. This house of charm is turned irresistibly towards the past, as well by its environment as by its decoration, its kitchen and its garden. The names of its four rooms testify some: Comtesse de Ségur, Jean de La Fontaine, George Sand, Victor Hugo. In each one, one finds the portrait of the author, carried out by the housewife. Each bed invites at rest, to slip into the white cotton cloths, embroidered with the hand. With each step, one finds pilot of last or sometimes forgotten objects: candlesticks, tablecloths out of fabric, porcelain painted with the hand by the housewife, embroidered towels. All invites to stop and take its time. The house was restored in a preoccupation with an authenticity, as well on the level of the matters, drink, lime, stone, bricks, as of esthetics: walls painted and drawn with the hand.
