Description
Comfortable,friendly B&B set among vineyards and cornfields. on the edge of a small market town with excellent Friday market, all amenities including restaurants, cafés, shops, banks, cinema, doctor and dentist. Visitors can enjoy views along the varied local walks along the Lot River and local woods and hills, including GR65 and GR36.
There are many other places to visit locally such as medieval chateaux at Bonaguil and Biron, lovely bastide towns, prehistoric caves and wine tasting at the many local domaines of the Cahors A.O.C. Cahors itself is only 25 mins by car or a little longer via the charming bus route through the vineyards. Luzech, Puy l'Eveque, Cazals and Montcuq are all a pleasure to visit close by.
A facinating area for naturalists, whilst artists and photographers will be spoiled for choice of subject. The Dordogne and Aveyron Gorge are only about 1 hour drive away and Toulouse under 2 hours.
Sporting activities include riding, cycle hire, watersports and fish
