17'th century house built in the Chartreuse style with all of the origionality still intact.

Description

"La maison Noble is a 17th century Chateaux built in the Girondine Chartreuse style and was names so by it's owner, The Lord of Gascq. It is located within easy walking distance of the beautiful Garonne River offering wide-rangeing views of the valley below.
A stable was added in 1782 and now serves as the breakfast room and library. All of the massive beams of the breakfast room/Library are still in their origional condition.
A unique feature of the house is it's monolith granit bath tub belonging to Napoleon's Admiral de La Crosse. La Crosse, born and buried in Meilhan, fought side by side the Americans in the American Revolutionary War.
As guest of the French/American propriators, of "La Maison Noble", you will experience the hospitality and landscape beauty for which this Bordeaux wine region is renowned. Another feature the owners thought about during interior renovation, the house has been equipped for the handicap.
