Description
La Grande Maison is a detached country house situated in the centre of Brittany, about 4 kms from the market town of Carhaix.
The house is set in 1 hectare of land and all the bedrooms, the guest lounge and garden have extensive views over the surrounding countryside.
The coasts of Brittany (north, south and west) are about an hours drive and offer a variety of coastlines and beaches.
Being about 1 hour from Roscoff and 2 hours from St Malo it is in an ideal place to stopover when travelling to South France or on your way home for that last night in France.For short breaks and longer holidays there is a wide variety of interests in the area.
We have 4 double bedrooms (some can be used as family rooms), some of which have ensuite facilities. There is a guest lounge where tea and coffee facilities are available. Guests are also invites to enjoy the garden.
Home cooked meals can be provided by prior arrangement, using our own produce when possible.
Open all year.
