Description
The estate covers 11-hectare with beautiful old buildings. The private road that leads to the secluded castle takes passes by a 2-ha lake.
The castle has not been occupied for the past 70 years. The oldest part dates back to 1233, and the authentic kitchen to 1359. Despite the fact that the castle is in need of serious renovation, it is well worth a tour.
The 'Maison de Gardien' (guest rooms) and the 'maison de maître' (main house) are situated on the symmetrical courtyard. The houses were built in the 19th century. The Orangery and the watermill ruine are located at the other side of the castle.
The 3 rooms on the first floor of the maison gardinier can be reached by a private stairway. The 4th room is situated on the groundfloor.
The spacious 2-4 persons rooms with own bathroom have an enchanting view of the lake or the castle. The rooms are furnished with antique furniture, some of which is from the castle.
