Our home, for B&B, is in the village of Campan 6kms south of the spa town of Bagnéres-de-Bigorre, Hautes Pyrénées. | |
Description
Situated in an area of outstanding beauty in the national park of the pyrénées. Cycling has long been popular here as proved by the regular visits of the Tour de France, together with paragliding, walking, mountain climbing, skiing, photography, painting, fishing, etc., etc.
Take the lift to the Pic de Midi de Bigorre, the areas highest point, or drive thru' La Mongie (great skiing resort in winter) and over the Col de Tourmalet then wind down to Lourdes.
Our nearest town, Bagnéres-de-Bigorre, has numerous restaurants, bars, shops and an excellent saturday market. It is most famous as a spa town where people come to 'take the waters', also available in the new super pool, Aquensis.
L'Esquisse is centrally heated & open all year. On the first floor is a spacious double bedroom with marble fireplace, the second floor has a twin bedded room & another double all with tea & coffee making facilities, bathrobes and linen provided.
