Description

The accomodation is privately situated in the maison de maitre of this former water mill on the banks of the River Anglin, an idyllic peaceful spot in rural central France. We offer 2 bedrooms, each sleeping up to 4 people, sympathetically renovated to be comfortable but retain their natural rural charm.
The wood panelled dining room for guests contains the original 17th century fireplace, which features the shell emblem of St Jacques de Compostelle, indicating that the Moulin welcomed pilgrims on their journey south to Santiago de Compostella in Spain. There is also an outside eating area and garden, places for children to play.
The area is renowned for its beautiful rivers, lakes and abundant wildlife, it is ideal for bird watching, angling, painting, walking or simply relaxing with a bottle of wine. Whether you want a family holiday, a short break, a convenient midway stopover on your way south, or you are house hunting, this is the ideal spot for you.
