Rustgevende locatie midden in het natuurgebied van de Morvan, het groene hart van de Bourgogne, vlak bij het prachtige merengebied van het “Lac des Settons”.
La Vieille Forge, is een uitgelezen plek op nog geen 8 uur rijden van Utrecht. In deze gerenoveerde “oude franse smidse”, waar in vorige eeuwen nog de ossen werden beslagen voor hun zware werk in de bosbouw, heeft u meteen het thuisgevoel. Gelegen op een hoogte met wijds uitzicht, zijn naast een huiskamer voor algemeen gebruik, voor uw verblijf een aantal luxe logeerkamers met zithoek ter beschikking. Daarin kunt u, ver van de stedelijke drukte, geheel tot rust kunt komen. De directe omgeving biedt mogelijkheden tot wandelen, fietstochten, watersport of andere sportieve activiteiten. Op enige afstand treft u rustieke dorpjes met uiteenlopende bezienswaardigheden, uitnodigende Bourgondische restaurantjes, brocantes en winkeltjes. Kortom alles wat uw hartje begeert.
