Welcome to the peace and quiet of our French farmhouse in the beautiful countryside overlooking the River Charente.

Description

Maureville is a seventeenth century farmhouse, with many original features. We now have 2 newly- renovated bedrooms, modern, but complimenting the rustic-style with wooden beams and stone-surrounded windows.Both are en-suite.Each has a double and a single bed.
We offer a scrumptious continental breakfast with home-made jams and marmalades, or a bumper farmhouse breakfast cooked in the traditional style of those from across the Channel--served al-fresco whenever possible!
We serve a table d'hote menu--with fresh veg from the extensive 'potager' on request. During the summer months we have evening barbecues followed by a game of boules.
Children and pets are welcome.
Open all year round to holiday-makers and house-hunters.
Miles of 'chemins' for walkers, horse-riders, bird-watchers and wildflower lovers. Ask for a packed lunch!
You'll love the sunshine, swimming-lakes, local markets, brocantes, fetes and fireworks.
Chill- with a book & glass of wine in the garden!
