Le Chardon is the ideal touring base for visiting the roman towns of Avignon Arles
Nimes and Orange as well as the world famous aqueduct of the Pont du Gard only a few kilometres away.
The beaches of the Mediterranean, the Camargue, famous for its horses and fighting bulls, and the Gorges de l Ardeche, famous for canoeing, are all easily accessible for a leisurely St Quentin la Poterie has a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops and a good supermarket.
Le Chardon is set in a large, enclosed, grassy garden with a swimming pool nestling between the breakfast room of the main house, the chambre d'hote and the sunny covered terrace.
